I have just not had any luck getting any of them to work completely. Even if you can find rubber bands that are the right size to hold the pieces together, (and good luck with that btw), with every single mold, at some point, after you've walked away, it will leak just enough that your sphere has a big ol flat spot at the top.I'm giving three stars, because I'm sure I'll figure out a way to make them work, maybe by caulking them before I start, which is what I'm going to try next. But, at this point, if I only had a small 16oz resin kit, I would be pretty annoyed at how much resin I've wasted trying to get a sphere. The biggest ball takes about 6 oz of resin, so make sure the resin you use can be poured that thick, or in that amount, and still cure. (Some resins recommend no deeper than 2" or no more volume than 4 oz, because of heat issues.)The material of the molds is good. The molds themselves are well made, with no burrs or flaws that mar the final product. The silicone is heavy, uniform, and appears to have been processed correctly. If I can figure out how to make them stop leaking, I will be really pleased with them. Until then, I'm sort of annoyed.

The sizes are great, but the marble size can only be filled with a pipett. When filling, it blows the pieces apart.

These aren’t that great. They split open and leak a lot. In order to get a full ice ball, I had to fill it, freeze it, wait til it was frozen, take it out (only half of the water remained) top it off, freeze it, top it off again and then I’d have a full ball. It’s just too leaky and annoying. I actually bought these for epoxy casting but I’m glad I tried it with water first. Go for something sturdier. It seems the smaller sizes are a little better at staying together, but the bigger they get, the flimsier.

The two smallest spheres are hard as hell to use. They don’t really seal up so the use of hot glue is an absolute necessity just to keep the 2/2‘s together. When working with spheres you do you normally use hot glue around the center to prevent leaks. In this case the smallest you are using it to keep the spheres together. That is the only issue

These molds are very poor quality. The silicone that they are made of is too thin and flimsy.

It’s a cool mold but it’s just so dang hard to use. You definitely CANNOT move it after pouring the resin because the pieces will come apart and spill your resin everywhere. Even if you do get your resin to stay in and dry, you end up getting a ring of resin around the finished mold that you’d have to sand off afterwards.

The thickness, sheerness and warmth are great. Just make sure you have a hot glue gun to glue the mold together while epoxy is processing.

I recieved these molds a bit ago and have since gotten plenty of use out of them. They are a decent product, but if you are using resin of any kind (as I am), and you are a beginner in the craft, I HIGHLY recommend getting more practice under your belt before taking a to at these molds. My biggest complaint, especially for the larger sizes, is you MUST make sure you have something that can keep the mold held together after your resin is poured and your waiting for it to cure. I have found that, with a sturdy "tie-down", good amount of resin leaked from where it should seal, and it left a massive crater at the bottom of the product and the product didnt cure right. I recommend a hefty, flatter rubber band, but make sure its not too tight or you can compromise the shape of your cured product! It is genuinely a well-made product, it just takes a little extra working with to get your method to work out.
